WE HAVE A FEW IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

MEET THE PLAYER BREAKFAST - The Meet the Player Breakfast will be held on Saturday, January 27 at 9:00 a.m. in the West Cafeteria at Richmond Hill High School. This is an annual event where families get together for the new season! Players will be introduced and receive their jerseys for this season - a tradition! Parents are ask to bring a casserole dish (freshman, sophmores and juniors parents) and donuts/pastries (seniors). Please arrive by 8:45. There will be a scrimmage for the Varsity team following the breakfast. All parents are welcome to attend the scrimmage!
MANDATORY PLAYER/PARENT MEETING - The Mandatory Player/Parent Baseball meeting is Tuesday, January 9 at 6:00 and will be held in the West Cafeteria (the old Middle School building). If you plan on trying out for the 2018 Season - a parent/player must be at this meeting. Please make certain to sign in when you arrive and pickup the important packet.
WORLDS FINEST CHOCOLATE - If you have not turned in Candy Money or have any candy that is not sold - it is past due!!!!! Please contact the HRA at the above email address to arrange for pickup or bring it to the meeting on Tuesday January 9.
BANNERS - SPONORSHIP BOARD - Sponsorship Packets were handed out and were emailed - if you did not receive the email - please email us.
CLAY SHOOT & REVERSE RAFFLE - Saturday, February 3 - Clay Shoot & Reverse Raffle @ 17th South Hunt Club - join us for a day of fun, food & community fellowship! Contact an HRA member for more information if you are interested!
CONCESSIONS - We will soon be in need of parent volunteers to help with concessions. We will be speaking with softball to see if their players are interested in working the stand during our Varsity games - we will then cover their Varsity games during their home games late summer (August - October). We will still need help with the grill - typically two people on the grill at each game and there will be a sign up sheet distributed. Should the sheet not be completed - in order to make it fair so that the same parents are not always working, we will fill in the shifts. If you can not make a shift - it will be your responsibility to get your shift covered - not the HRA. For the 9th & JV games - we will need volunteers to do both the stand and the grill - this will typically take 2-3 for busy games. A sign up sheet will be sent to you to sign up. Again, should the sheet not be completed, we will fill in the shifts. If you have any questions, please email the HRA.
Player and Parent Financial Responsibilities information will be emailed to everyone soon.
Please check the calendar on this site for meeting dates. January will be a mandatory meeting for all parents/players to attend - it will be held in the Cafeteria in the main building.
Meetings will be held monthly and will typically be held in Coach Bennett's room at 6:00. We encourage you to become a member of the HRA so you can take part in the meetings and have a vote! Membership runs each year - so you will need to renew your membership - cost is $25/family - you can either send it in to Coach Bennett or bring it to the first meeting and give to Karen Becker - Treasurer.
Please email us with your information so we can add you to our contact list - we send out notices from Coach Bennett, HRA information, and answer questions you may have. Send your name (first/last); player name (first/last); grade and the email address or addresses you would like for us to send to. Our email address is email@example.com. We are building our 2017-18 email list and need to have an email address for each player. If your son plans on trying out - we need to make certain to have your email address. This will be our main form of communication.
Please check back frequently for updates and as we receive notices our method of getting information to you will be through our email system. So please make sure we have your email address.
